Freelance UX/UI Design Branding Social Design Wordpress

Providing online and social media design to educate and connect student athletes with advisors to help them immigrate to the United States on athletic scholarship.

About

RightTrack Sports is a company which provides bespoke advice to international students interested in being recruited for athletic scholarships in the NCAA. As the social media and web designer, I was tasked to create accessible and clear resources to draw interested students in and provide them with reliable information.

1. Branding

Upon taking the job at RightTrack, the founder had a pretty clear vision of the colors and fonts he wanted in the branding. I added in a few darker colors, especially helpful for highlights on the website.

2. Web Design

Perameters & Targets

Working with RightTrack, I had specific perameters to work within: One, all the work had to be completed on Wordpress. Two, I was directed to create few pages to encourage students to enquire and speak with agents rather than read all of the information online. I kept to a very simple brief, which also had to be completed within a week. Emphasis of the design was on the socials.

3. Social Design

Strategy
One of the main goals of the social design was to create content which appealed to the young audience of users who want to learn more about the NCAA system. I liked the idea of creating bold boxes and titles, so we could both advertise successful students while also having a format which was cohesive with educational posts about the NCAA and recruiting process.
Social Design Results
Since taking over the social media, I’ve seen the following results:

  1.  Over 20+ new enquiries for the business
  2. Between August 25-September 23: 15k views to the profile
  3. 215 new follows

4. Slide Deck

In order to guide conversations with prospective athlets, I created a small work deck using Figma’s prototype presentation deck function.
